Our Story



Hi there! My name is Sarah and my two absolute favorite things are baking and desserts. I started Soft + Salted in college when I couldn't find my ideal chocolate chip cookie - crisp on the outside, gooey in the middle, salted on top, and thiccc. I started sharing my chocolate chip cookie experiments with friends and family and watched their faces light up when they tried something I made. I saw how happy something small like a box of cookies can make people feel, and I wanted to share that feeling with the world. I began to sell these cookies out of my college apartment, and the cookies sold out almost instantly. 
Although Soft + Salted has grown out of that small college apartment and into a commercial kitchen space, we have always prided ourselves on using premium ingredients and no preservatives. Pure vanilla bean extract, high quality chocolates, and seasonal ingredients are a must. All cookies are handcrafted and baked fresh daily to ensure they are always at their freshest. Enjoy!
